People are watching this documentary and immediately ditching meat, dairy and eggs
Have you heard about the new health documentary that’s persuading lots of people to give up meat, dairy and eggs and start following a vegan diet? It’s called What The Health and it’s currently streaming on Netflix.
The documentary is a follow-up to the excellent Cowspiracy, and follows filmmaker Kip Andersen as he investigates how our consumption of animal products is literally killing us.
The documentary exposes how health organisations are colluding with government and big business to keep the devastating impact of animal products on human health quiet, and shows how pharmaceutical companies, agribusiness, and processed animal food companies have an insidious influence on the nation’s health.
Heart disease and cancer are leading causes of death in the Western world. What The Health reveals the devastating role that meat, dairy and eggs play in causing such chronic diseases, and how switching to a healthy vegan diet can prevent and even reverse them.
The film has received lots of impressive reviews. Writing in Metro omnivore Oliver McAteer explains how after watching the documentary he cut meat out of his diet the following day and how “after seeing all the outrageously good benefits a plant-based diet has to offer” he is going to try the 30 day vegan challenge. He describes the documentary as a must-watch – “enthralling as it is eye-opening.”
I decided to ask around to find out whether anyone has watched the documentary and if so, what they thought of it. I was taken aback by the positive responses I received. Here are a few of them:

Anecdotally the documentary appears to be having a hugely powerful impact by successfully educating people about the harm animal products are causing to human health, and persuading them to switch to a vegan diet.
